备注：This strain (A1-2) is a derivative of the OriM strain, which was isolated from a 13-year culture of a microcosm culture composed of Micractinium sp. (i.e., OriM), Escherichia coli, and Tetrahymena thermophila. This strain exhibits a lower growth rate (0.33 d-1) than OriM (0.66 d-1) in the medium in Table (no organic compounds; 12L:12D at 30?C). This strain grows in a dispersed fashion without forming cell aggregates; the algal cells tend to be ingested by Tetrahymena thermophila to form endo-symbiotic association when co-cultured with the ciliate. Like OriM, this strain is resistant to streptomycin, kanamycin, and ampicillin.
