备注：This strain (SC9-1) is a derivative of the OriM strain, which was isolated from a 5-year culture of a microcosm culture composed of Micractinium sp. (i.e., OriM), Escherichia coli, and Tetrahymena thermophila. This strain exhibits a higher growth rate (0.95 d-1) than OriM (0.66 d-1) in the medium in Table (no organic compounds; 12L:12D at 30?C). This strain grows in a dispersed fashion without forming cell aggregates; the algal cells tend to be ingested by Tetrahymena thermophila to form endo-symbiotic association when co-cultured with the ciliate. This strain is sensitive to streptomycin but resistant to kanamycin and ampicillin.
